✨ HCP Boundary Now Generally Available

On the first day of HashiConf Global 2022, HashiCorp Co-Founder and CTO Armon Dadgar announced that HCP Boundary has reached general availability and is production-ready. HashiCorp Boundary on the HashiCorp Cloud Platform provides a consistent workflow for securing access to infrastructure in ephemeral cloud environments without exposing your network or host credentials to users — all without requiring extensive setup or operational management by your teams.

✨ HashiCorp Consul 1.14 (Beta) Delivers Simplified Service Mesh Deployments

The opening keynote also included several major announcements around HashiCorp Consul. The beta release of Consul 1.14 introduces the Consul dataplane, service mesh traffic management across cluster peers, and service failover enhancements. We’ve also added further support for AWS Lambda and initial support for Windows VMs. HCP Consul also added a new management plane for HCP and self-managed Consul clusters.

We also announced beta availability for running HCP Vault on Microsoft Azure. This will start with the development tier and add the higher tiers going forward.

HashiCorp Developer — your new one-stop shop for interactive labs, sample code, videos, tutorials, and in-depth documentation — is now live for all HashiCorp products. Over the next month we will begin automatically redirecting users from the HashiCorp documentation and HashiCorp Learn site to HashiCorp Developer.
