Start small (one table), use Schema Registry, prefer the outbox pattern for domain events, and let consumers handle exactly‑once and replays.

⭐ Building Agentic Workflows with IBM watsonx Orchestrate on AWS: A clear, hands‑on walkthrough of how enterprises can design multi‑agent, governed workflows using watsonx Orchestrate on AWS—combining visual builders for business users with an Agent Development Kit for developers, integrations with Amazon Bedrock/AgentCore, lifecycle governance, and rollback-ready orchestration patterns. Great read if you’re evaluating agentic automation that blends no‑code flows with code-based agents and enterprise integrations.

⭐Perplexity Comet vs OpenAI Atlas — quick take: Perplexity Comet is a bold, research‑first AI browser with smart multi‑tab workflows and trustworthy, citation‑centric results, but it needs tighter performance, clearer privacy guarantees, and real mobile support; OpenAI’s Atlas pushes the agentic, assistant‑in‑every‑tab vision and will intensify competition, so if Comet sharpens speed, privacy, and mobile, it could set the AI‑browsing standard—promising today, a bit hands‑on and uneven for niche tasks, but trending in the right direction.

In the Announcements section 📢, we will keep you up-to-date with the latest news and updates from the world of Cloud and Technology 💬. This section will include information about new releases, events, and other important updates 🗓️.

📢Multi-cloud hot take: Craig Bossie’s remark about AWS and Azure spiking on Downdetector at the same time hits a hard truth — correlated outages don’t mean one runs on the other. They reveal shared dependencies and perception artifacts that make “multi-cloud for outages” far less binary than it sounds. The recent Azure Front Door config issue caused wide disruption — and while AWS reported no impact, users and trackers still showed spikes, illustrating how edge layers, DNS, CDNs, and third-party tools can blur outage boundaries. True resilience comes from architecture, not just provider count — fault isolation, DNS failover, graceful degradation, and real regional diversity matter more than a multi-cloud checkbox.

📢 Amazon ECS adds built‑in Linear and Canary deployments: ECS now supports gradual traffic shifting strategies alongside blue/green—configure step percentages and bake times for linear rollouts, or send a small canary slice first and promote after a health window, with lifecycle hooks, CloudWatch alarm rollbacks, and quick revert via deployment bake time. Works with ALB and ECS Service Connect across all commercial regions, via Console, CLI/SDK, CloudFormation, CDK, and Terraform.

The Workshops section 🛠 is where we will provide you with hands-on training and practical workshops to help you build your skills and knowledge in Cloud and Technology 💻. This section will be tailored to meet the needs of developers, architects, and other technical professionals 👨💻.

🛠 Amazon ECS Immersion Day: A hands-on workshop that takes you end-to-end on Amazon ECS—containerizing an app, pushing to ECR, deploying on ECS with capacity providers, and wiring in observability and scaling. Ideal if you want practical experience with ECS service patterns, task networking, blue/green deploys, and cost-aware scheduling using Spot where it fits

Community Corner 🤝

We are introducing a new section called Community Corner 🤝, where we will talk about something from the community that you should check out. This section will feature open source projects, meetups, events, and other initiatives from the Cloud and Tech community.

🤝HashiTalks India 2025: Co-hosted HashiTalks India 2025 on 30 Oct with Neel Shah and Saravanan Gnanaguru—grateful to the HashiCorp community team and everyone who tuned in; the energy, stories, and practitioner-led sessions reminded why this community is special. Worth a watch for practitioner-led talks on Terraform, Vault, and platform engineering etc.

🤝AWS User Group West Midlands: Spoke at an engaging AWS User Group West Midlands session: “RAG Meets Reality: Building Secure, Compliant GenAI with Vault and Bedrock”—great conversations on bringing GenAI to production securely;

🤝Bangalore HashiCorp User Group: The first meetup of the new HashiCorp User Group chapter in Bengaluru has wrapped—great kickoff with hands‑on discussions across Terraform, Vault, Consul, and Nomad; follow the group for future deep dives.

1. Highlights ✨

Last but not least, we have the Highlights section ✨. This is where we will showcase some of the most exciting and innovative projects and solutions in the Cloud and Technology space 🌌.

📝 Words from the Author

In this edition, I want to reflect on a journey that’s been both challenging and deeply rewarding—my commitment to AWS certifications.

Back in 2023, I completed all available AWS certifications, earning the coveted Golden Jacket—a milestone that marked not just the breadth of my cloud knowledge, but also the dedication and persistence it took to reach that goal. Standing among a global community of passionate builders, I felt a real sense of accomplishment and connection.

But as anyone who’s walked this path knows, the journey doesn’t end with the Golden Jacket. AWS certifications are valid for only a limited period, which means staying “all certified” is an ongoing commitment. For the past two years—and continuing into 2025—I’ve made it a priority to keep every certification active, regularly preparing for recertification exams as AWS evolves and new services are introduced.

It’s a continuous cycle of learning, unlearning, and adapting. Each recertification is a reminder that the cloud never stands still—and neither can we. The process keeps my skills sharp, pushes me to explore new features, and connects me with others on the same path. It’s not just about the badges or the jacket, but about embracing a mindset of lifelong curiosity and growth.

If you’re on your own certification journey, remember: it’s not a one-time finish line, but a path of ongoing discovery. Celebrate your milestones, but also enjoy the process of staying current and connected in this ever-changing world of cloud. Here’s to all of us who keep learning, recertifying, and building—year after year!
