📝 Words from the Author

In this edition, I want to share a lesson that’s both humbling and empowering: the power of saying, “I don’t know.”

Recently, while working on a new AI integration for one of our cloud projects, I hit a wall. A teammate asked me a technical question about fine-tuning a foundation model on Amazon Bedrock—something I hadn’t done before. My instinct was to try to figure it out quickly or give a best guess, but instead, I simply admitted, “I don’t know, but I’d love to learn.”

That moment of honesty opened the door for collaboration. Another colleague who had hands-on experience with Bedrock jumped in, and together we explored the documentation, experimented, and even reached out to the broader AWS community for insights. What started as uncertainty turned into a mini learning sprint—by the end, not only did we solve the problem, but we also discovered new best practices and built a stronger sense of trust on our team.

Saying “I don’t know” didn’t make me less capable; it made me more open to growth. It reminded me that in tech—and in life—admitting what you don’t know is often the first step toward real breakthroughs and meaningful connections. So here’s to embracing curiosity, asking questions, and learning together

Thank you for reading Everything about Cloud & Tech Newsletter #33 🙏 and we look forward to connecting with you in future editions 💕.

Happy Building! 😎
