## **📝 Words from the Author**

This month, I decided to push the boundaries of what’s possible with Amazon Q CLI by taking on the Amazon Q CLI Challenge—and what a ride it’s been! As part of the challenge, I set out to create two classic games: **Poker** and **Tambola**. Using Q CLI’s natural language capabilities, I was able to scaffold, code, and iterate on these games faster than I ever imagined.

What surprised me most was how intuitive the process felt. Instead of wrestling with boilerplate or searching for the right commands, I simply described what I wanted—“generate a backend for a Tambola game with DynamoDB,” or “set up a Poker game logic with Lambda triggers”—and Q CLI handled the heavy lifting. Debugging and tweaking game rules became a collaborative, almost conversational experience.

The best part? It was genuinely fun. Watching these games come to life, testing them with friends, and seeing how quickly I could pivot from idea to prototype reminded me why I love building in the cloud.

Beyond the games, I’ve started using Amazon Q CLI for a handful of **side projects and apps**—from automating daily tasks to spinning up quick MVPs for new ideas. The speed at which I can move from concept to working code has completely changed my approach to experimentation and learning.

If you’re curious about what you can build, I highly recommend giving Amazon Q CLI a try. Whether it’s for serious projects or just for fun, you might be surprised at how much you can accomplish—and how much you’ll enjoy the process.
